Meet "Next Door Team"

       John Kilpatrick - Licensed Realtor

John has been involved in real estate since 2002. He is a founding member, along with Peter Wannop, of Next Door Team.  He and his wife Nancy moved to the Okanagan Valley in 1999 and settled in West Kelowna. John was a successful business person in Saskatchewan for over 30 years. John graduated from the University of British Columbia, Real Estate and Sub-Mortgage Brokers Course and joined Royal Lepage Kelowna in 2002.  John has been involved in his community on local boards such as church, irrigation district, parks and recreation, youth groups, local hockey teams and local Strata Council, as well as working within Royal Lepage in different volunteer capacities.  John is an enthusiastic sports fan and participant. You can find him enjoying “one of his favorite sports”, badminton, at the Kelowna Badminton Club during recreation times. Being originally from Saskatchewan of course means he is a Riders fan for life. Win or lose, he will be cheering for the “Green and White”. He enjoys life in the Okanagan and has been instrumental in encouraging his family to join him in this beautiful Valley. John and Nancy’s  daughter and son in law, along with 3 of his siblings and their spouses and some of their children, have also moved to West Kelowna to experience the good life the Okanagan Valley offers.  His passion, as with the rest of “The Team”, is to give excellent service by providing skill and knowledge in real estate, helping people find the “Next Door that is Right for Them”.  One of John’s specialties is working with Seniors. He enjoys assisting them with all the details that they encounter from the beginning to the end of the sales transaction.  John's knowledge of business along with his experience in negotiation, sales and the building industry have prepared him well to provide his clients with informed, practical advice when Buying or Selling Real Estate. John has maintained Award Winning production in sales and leadership in the last 6 consecutive years including:  Sales Achievement Award, Master Sales Award, President’s Gold Award and Director’s Platinum Award.

          Peter Wannop - Licensed Realtor

Though originally from Alberta, Bradley’s roots in the Okanagan date back to 1925 when his great-grandparents settled in Rutland. His grandfather decided to make his way to the frozen north of Alberta, when the oil patch was getting its start. From there, his father decided to make a geographic move with the energy sector again, this time south. Bradley ended up in central Alberta, where he spent most of his formative years. Following the family trend, Bradley relocated to Calgary after high school, where he graduated with a General Business diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 1993. He began work with an oil and gas firm, working as a production accountant and business development analyst. He spent the next 16 years there, including a two and a half year stint in north Africa. These experiences helped shape and sharpen his skills with not only contracts and accounts but most importantly people.  In 2009 Bradley and his wife decided they had had enough of the corporate rat race and moved to West Kelowna. Some 80 years after his family started here, he is happily returning to his Okanagan roots.  Bradley is a member of the Westside Toastmasters 872, bassist and vocalist for the local Blues Brothers Too Revue Tribute band, and absolutely loves helping people to find their new homes! 

John McGann - Licensed Realtor

In 1975 John entered the market in the newly established town of Mission Viejo and experienced huge success in a rather short period of time. His business grew along with the area. John received his BC Real Estate License and joined Royal LePage - Kelowna. He has taken many courses offered by Royal LePage to ensure he is able to give the best possible service to his clients. In addition to John's BC Real Estate license, he also maintains his California Broker's license and can be a huge assett to Canadians wishing to purchase dramatically reduced properties in the USA.

Charlene Stickney - Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant

Charlene originally moved to Kelowna in 1971, then to Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver and back to Kelowna in 2005. Charlene has been an Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant since the fall of 2007 and joined the Next Door Team in the fall of 2009.  Charlene brings 20 years of administration experience.  Charlene’s experience in administration allows John, Peter, Jackie and Bradley to spend more time working directly with their clients and much less time at a desk. Charlene looks after the mountains of paperwork, inputting and updating of listings to REALTOR® (formerly MLS), advertising, marketing and website maintenance. Charlene is available to answer many of your questions when John, Peter, Bradley and John McGann are unavailable.
